Hole #17, Par 4
This spicy hole plays uphill from an elevated tee over a saddled out fairway, with bunkers right and left, water right and left, and a dog-leg right. Knowing where to aim your tee shot is a huge advantage on this hole. The green lies in the open, slopes slightly back to front and is protected by bunkers on both sides. A well struck and well thought out tee shot avoids all of these hazards giving the player an unobstructed view of this green. Sometimes an off line approach shot may still hit one of the largest greens on Hickory Hills and two good putts often lead to your well- deserved par.
