Hole #18, Par 4
Number eighteen is one of the most spectacular, scenic, and demanding holes in all of central Ohio. The tee shot must be carefully played avoiding a bunker on the left and a steep drop off at the end of the fairway, which is 235 yards from the middle tee. A wayward tee shot to the right puts you behind tall trees, sometimes extracting an extra shot to play around. Depending on the wind and the position of the tees, you can hit anything from an iron to a driver from the eighteenth tee. The two tiered elevated green lies across a valley floor and is protected by a front bunker. The green has an amphitheater setting and is surrounded by tall trees to the rear. A premium is placed on the approach shot because anything short, long or off to the side often can result in a struggle for your par. Many an exciting match comes down to the final putt on number eighteen. What a hole!
